How to order your pet portrait.

What I need

Really clear images, especially showing the facial features. These are just as important on a dog or cat as they are on a human. The larger the file the better. It’s also good if you have an image of your pet where the expression or pose is really typical of their behaviour. That’s another way of helping me to capture what your pet looks like. Sometimes its useful to have a couple of photos that show true to life colour of the animal’s fur. Not all photos show this well and I can only go on what you give me for colour, unless of course you’re after graphite or charcol.

The process

Email me your information, what you are looking for, and photos. I’ll get back to you with what I think I can use and do. Once we reach agreement, I will need a $50 non refundable deposit. You will receive regular updates from me so that you can see that the work is proceeding how you wanted which will give both of us the opportunity to review how it’s going and if anything needs changing.

How long will it take?

This will depend a bit on work load, but I try to get work completed promptly. If you want the work for a gift and there’s a particular time you wish it done by, you’ll need to let me know from the start. That way I can ensure that I have it done in time or let you know that it won’t be possible due to other commitments.

Postage

Australia Post standard delivery method unless Express is required, or, shipping overseas. Work will be in a thick cardboard folder, made to size with tissue paper insert.
